What Happens If The Mediation Becomes Unsuccessful?

The parties are entitled to exit from the mediation process at any time. The parties remain entitled to start court proceedings or resort to other dispute resolution methods, in case they do not reach a settlement.

Resort to mediation process does not prejudice the parties the right to refer the dispute to a court. Furthermore, the elapsed time in mediation process is not taken in consideration while calculating the limitation time for ongoing disputes (before court or arbitration etc.).

Mediation process does not create a manipulative position.
